Salem Man Arraigned for Murder After Stabbing at Manchester Club

Joel Martin was arrested in Boston hours after allegedly killing Darrell Robinson at Club Drynk in Manchester; he was arraigned today.

A local man has been arraigned on a murder charge after an alleged stabbing incident in Manchester over the weekend.

Joel Martin, 26, of Salem, has been charged with second-degree murder.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Martin faces the murder charge after allegedly stabbing Darrell Robinson of Manchester with a knife early Saturday morning at the Club Drynk nightclub on Granite Street in Manchester.

Police were called to the club around 1 a.m. for a report of a man bleeding inside Club Drynk after being stabbed in the torso. He was later identified as Robinson and taken to Elliot Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“Witnesses indicated that Mr. Robinson had been assaulted by another patron inside the club during an altercation,” according to a press statement from the NH AG.

A warrant was later issued for Martin and he was found by the Boston Police Department outside of a hospital in Boston. He was arraigned in court in Boston on May 11, on a fugitive from justice charge.

Martin was arraigned on May 12, in Manchester District Court on the second-degree murder charge.
