Salem Man Arrested For Drunken Driving Again: Police Log

SALEM, NH — Anya Nicole Brillant, 24, of Fraser Drive in Salem was arrested at 11:03 p.m. on July 19, 2023, on a domestic violence-simple assault charge. She was arrested after police were sent to Fraser Drive for a report of a disturbance possibly involving a knife. The woman was found, arrested, and taken to the Rockingham County Jail.

A 17-year-old was cited at 7:57 p.m. on July 19 on an operating without a valid license charge while riding a moped on Salem Street. They were released later to an adult.

Devin S. McDonald, 48, of Brady Avenue in Salem was arrested at 4:59 p.m. on July 19 on driving under the influence, DUI-second offense, driving after revocation or suspension, and breach of bail charges and a bench warrant. An officer, while working a detail, was flagged down about a person passed out behind the wheel of a car at the City Line Market on Cross Street. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the man. He was taken to the Rockingham County Jail later.

Joseph Gibney, 48, of Meisner Circle in Salem was arrested on an unsworn falsification charge. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters and released on personal recognizance.

Lynn Marie Carrier, 56, of Old Gage Hill Road in Pelham was arrested at 1:04 a.m. on July 19 on aggravated driving under the influence-0.16+, DUI, and DUI-adult greater than 0.08; minor greater than 0.02 charges. Police were sent to a single-vehicle crash on Brady Avenue. After she was arrested, Salem fire and rescue teams were requested to evaluate the woman in booking.

Nina Maria Faria, 55, of Howard Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. on July 12 on a driving under the influence charge. She was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at Kashmir on South Broadway Street. She was released on personal recognizance bail.

John T. Kiely, 40, of Lancelot, Connecticut, was arrested on a bench warrant at 7:58 p.m. on July 12 after a motor vehicle stop at City Line Market on Cross Street.

Garrett D. Decaluwe, 38, of Pershing Avenue in Framingham, MA, was arrested at 2:17 p.m. on July 12 on disorderly conduct and criminal trespass charges. He was arrested after police were sent to Plaza on Broadway on South Broadway Street for a report of a man “trespassing on a daily basis.” Police went to Harbor Freight and Cumbies and later arrested a suspect.

David Francis Ghuste, 72, of Telfer Circle in Salem was arrested at 9:23 a.m. on July 12 on two possession of controlled drug-sale, etc. charges. Police served both a warrant and a search warrant at the home. The man was released on personal recognizance later.
