Salem Man Arrested, Held on Gun Charges: Log
Salem Police arrest New York man for theft by deception; credit card fraud; man arrested for simple assault after fighting with neighbor.

SALEM, NH - Robert E. McGuire, 32, of Wilson Street in Salem, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. on May 7, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to a dispute on Wilson Street with neighbors “screaming at each other,” according to the report, with a woman yelling to be let go. “(The caller) stated she saw the male push the female subject, according to the report. McGuire was later arrested.

David F. Nichols, 38, of Shore Drive in Salem, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. on May 7, 2016, for receiving stolen property (a stolen firearm), carrying a handgun without a license, and domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to a domestic on Shore Drive where a man was reportedly not breathing after arguing with a woman. EMTs were also called to the scene. Before arriving, the man reportedly left the home but police caught up with him and he was transported to the hospital. “Officers found a gun in the vehicle that comes back stolen out the Derry PD,” according to the report. A vehicle was also towed from the scene. Nichols was held on $5,000 cash bail.

Joann M. Dukas, 68, of Briarwood Lane in Dedham, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. on May 7, 2016, for willful concealment at the Lord & Taylor on Rockingham Park Boulevard.

Janelle Johnson, 51, a homeless woman now located in Salem, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. on May 7, 2016, for willful concealment and a bench warrant at the Walmart on North Broadway. The warrant required $350 cash bail. She was also held on an additional $1,000 cash bail.
Luis Tiburcio, 24, of Trinity Avenue in the Bronx, NY, was arrested at 12:08 p.m. on May 8, 2016, for theft by deception ($1,500+) and credit card fraud ($1,501+ or two priors). He was arrested at the Mall at Rockingham Park and held on $1,000 cash bail.
Robin Descoteaux, 54, of Golfview Drive in Manchester, was taken in to protective custody at 11:01 p.m. on May 8, 2016, after an incident on Green Acre Drive involving two women who were fighting. One reportedly threw a set of keys over a fence, according to the report.
