Salem Man Arrested on Restitution Warrant

A Salem man was arrested Thursday by the Rockingham County Sheriff's office on an outstanding warrant for restitution of theft.

Sheriff Michael Downing announced that Daniel K. Fratus, 29, of Crestwood Circle in Salem, was arrested at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Fratus was arrested at 14 Ashwood Avenue in Salem.

The outstanding warrant for Fratus was for a charge of restitution for theft in the amount of $2,318, Downing said.

No other details on the arrest were immediately available.

UPDATE: The warrant against Fratus was for restitution for theft, receiving stolen property, according to Rockingham County Sheriff's office.
