Salem Man Charged in Candia Burglary Case

The Union Leader reports Michael Foye, 36, of Salem, was arrested in connection with a burglary from a Candia resident of $1,700 worth of jewelry and two firearms. The paper reported Foye was arrested by Candia police Nov. 7 after he'd been arrested by Salem police for different charges of forgery, receiving stolen property and theft by deception.
According to the Union Leader, the jewelry taken in the burglary was later pawned in Salem, according to Foye's pawn records. The guns taken in the burglary have not yet been recovered, according to the paper.
The investigation started after the alleged victim approached Candia police about business checks that began to disappear and were being cashed at Bedford and Salem banks. Foye had worked for the alleged victim, according to the paper.
