Terry Doyle's start on Sunday will be televised on NESN starting at 1:30 p.m.

The Union-Leader reports a native son of Salem will pitch against the Boston Red Sox Sunday when the Minnesota Twins visit JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Fla. to kick off the Grapefruit League season.

Terry Doyle was told by Twins pitching coach Rick Anderson Wednesday he would get the start on Sunday and Doyle, 26, told the newspaper he's excited his friends and family will get to see him pitch as the game will be televised on NESN at 1:30 p.m.

“Hopefully it's the first of many times I get to pitch against the Red Sox, so I'm going to just try to stay relaxed and do the best I can to get outs," Doyle told the Union-Leader.
