Salem Police Investigating Report Of Armed Robbery At Bank On South Broadway
Cops responded to Eastern Bank for a report of a robbery involving a firearm. The suspect was described as a man with a mustache and beard.
SALEM, NH — Salem police were dispatched to Eastern Bank at 365 South Broadway at about 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.
The caller reported a white male with a beard and mustache wearing a baseball hat, sweatshirt, and grey gardening typ gloves had robbed the bank. Several officers responded to the scene and set up a perimeter while other officers reviewed the video.
Salem Fire dispatched an ambulance to the scene for a report of one of the employees having a panic attack.

Police put out a be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) for a red Subaru, possibly a hatchback, seen fleeing the area, according to the officer at the scene.
It is believed the vehicle may have traveled south on Route 28.
