Salem Police Log: Man Arrested for DWI After Crashing Into Parked Boat

Plus, 27 criminal mischief complains filed on Norwood Road, Emerald Drive, and Nottingham Lane; overdose reported on Lemay Road.

Incidents

  • 12:37 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2015: A person was struck by a construction vehicle at the Woodbury Middle School on Main Street.
  • Between 3:31 p.m. and 5:56 p.m.27, criminal mischief complaints were reported on Norwood Road, Emerald Drive, Nottingham Lane.
  • 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 15: An overdose was reported on Lemay Road involving a 23-year-old man and heroin. Salem Fire and Rescue teams transported the man to Parkland Medical Center.
  • 9:38 p.m. on Aug. 15: A California man was taken into protective custody for drunkenness on Sandy Beach Road after police were called to the scene for an “out-of-control” man.

Arrests

Angela M. Lunderville, 24, of Halfmoon Pond Road in Washington, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2015, on possession of a controlled drug, transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle, and arrest without a warrant. She turned herself in to police.

David Viens, 23, of Glen Road in Salem, was arrested at 3:31 a.m. on Aug. 15, on DUI-impairment, conduct after an accident, false report to law enforcement, and DUI-adult over 0.08. Officers were sent to Blake Road for a report of a black car striking a truck and boat parked in the driveway. The vehicle reportedly took off down Blake and up Glen Road. Officers arrived at the scene of Glen Road where a vehicle’s air bags had been deployed.

James Ezeigwe, 32, of Howard Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. on Aug. 16, on two counts of willful concealment, theft charges.
