Salem Police Log: Mass. Man Arrested for Attacking Woman at Red Roof Inn

Plus, teen shoplifters, Salem man allegedly throws 5 lbs. weight at woman's car, and wife accuses hubby of assault.

Jesse L. Conley, 37, of Cluff Crossing Road in Salem, was arrested at 12:07 a.m. on Sept. 12, 2015, for criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Officers were sent to a condo on Cluff Crossing Road for a report of a woman stating she had been involved in a domestic situation with her boyfriend. She stated that he reportedly came outside and threw a 5 lbs. weight at her car, an Audi, causing damage. She also alleged that he had been drinking.

Michael W. Metcalf, 56, of Lawrence Road in Salem, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. on Sept. 12, for simple assault. He was also taken into protective custody. Police were called to the home after a woman alleged that her husband assaulted her.

Jaylen Alicea, 23, of Lawrence Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. on Sept. 12, for willful concealment. Alicea was arrested at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Kelly L. Krank, 55, of Jackson Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 3:06 a.m. on Sept. 13, for second-degree assault, simple assault-domestic violence, and obstructing report of crime/injury-domestic violence. Officers were called to the Red Roof Inn for a report of a woman alleging that a man tried to kill her. The woman was allegedly assaulted but was unharmed, according to the report. Police later arrested Krank on numerous charges.

Nicholas M. Saba, 23, of Cross Street in Salem, was arrested at 12:19 p.m. on Sept. 13, on a willful concealment charge. A caller from the Kohl’s on Cluff Crossing Road requested assistance after allegedly catching Saba shoplifting sneakers from the store. He reportedly had a knife in his hands, according to the police report, and refused to come back into the store. Later, he reportedly went into the store and was arrested police.

Joseph C. Duda, 25, of Boulder Lane in Pelham, was arrested at 3:08 p.m. on Sept. 13, on two counts of possession of controlled drugs. Police were sent to the Dunkin’ Donuts for a report of a man and woman “in and out of the bathroom” with the man nodding off while sitting at one of the tables. The man, Duda, was arrested later.

A 13- and 15-year-old were arrested on willful concealment charges at 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 13, at the Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
