Salem Police Participate in 'No Shave November'
The effort is a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as Officer Joey DeFeudis runs the 2016 Boston Marathon.

Members of the Salem Police Department will be participating in the No Shave November to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Forty-five Salem Police officers have donated money to participate in the fundraiser to support Officer Joey DeFeudis in his effort to raise money for the charity, according to Lt. Joel Dolan.
DeFeudis has chosen to run the 2016 Boston Marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society team and is running to honor his late mother, who passed away earlier this year after a battle with this terrible disease.
