Salem Police Report Crash on Cross Street

UPDATED: Breaking: A motor vehicle accident has shut down Cross Street; Liberty Utilities says 300 without power in the area, too.

SALEM, NH — Cross Street in Salem is closed to traffic after a motor vehicle accident at just before 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2016, according to alerts online. The road is closed from Brady Avenue to the City Line Market. There are unknown injuries at this time. Police are reporting that power could be out in the area until 6 a.m. on Saturday. Liberty Utilities reported at 8:12 p.m. on Twitter that 300 customers were without power. Restoration is expected sometime during the next five hours.
