The fastest finisher from Salem was Tammy Toth, 37, who completed the 26.2-mile trek in 3:37:33.
Runners this year had to deal with extreme heat, which caused some to drop out of this year's event.

Chrissy St. Hilaire, 31, who was featured on Patch as , finished in 6:15:03.
In addition to the Salem runners, also had someone to root for this year: Associate Principal Tracy Collyer, who will be taking over as principal July 1.

Collyer finished in 5:01:49 and according to a tweet from the Salem High Twitter page, she raised over $4,000 "in the fight against Juvenile Diabetes."
