Salem’s Supervisors Of The Checklist Meet Jan. 18
Town residents can register to vote or change their political party affiliation before the town deliberative session in February.
SALEM, NH — Salem residents who are not registered to vote but would like to be before February’s deliberative session can do so next Tuesday.
Salem’s Supervisors of the Checklist will meet at 7 p.m. on Jan. 18, in the lower level of the town’s municipal office building. According to Kelly Anne Dortona, voters can register or make changes to their existing data or change political party affiliation.
“Prospective new voters need to be 18 years of age and are required to present a picture ID and proof of domicile,” she said. “A driver’s license is acceptable. Naturalized citizens must show documented citizenship papers or a United States passport.”

Salem’s deliberative session will be held at 9 a.m. on Feb. 5 at the high school auditorium. To participate in the meeting, residents must be registered to vote.
The Salem town clerk’s office also accepts registrations during regular office hours up to 10 days prior to the meeting.

Copies of the voter checklist are available to view at the town hall at Kelley Library, she said.
