UPDATE, 10 p.m.: A tweet from the Salem School District that appeared in the last few minutes confirmed the cancellation of school Tuesday due to "widespread power outages."
EARLIER STORY: There will be no school in Salem Tuesday, according to tweets from the Twitter accounts of Woodbury Middle School and Lancaster Elementary School as well as WMUR.
The tweet from Woodbury principal Brad St. Laurent stated: "Woodbury School will be closed Tuesday due to the storm."

Meanwhile, the tweet from Lancaster's account said: "No school in Salem on Tuesday as we recover from the storm."

The Salem School District had not tweeted anything from their account regarding school closures as of 9:30 p.m. and the SAU57.org home page appears to be down.
