Salem Small Business Tournament

Salem is known throughout New England as a destination for business, given its location immediately over the border from Massachusetts and its easy access on Interstate 93.

Now we ask you, the Salem Patch reader, to pick which businesses are the cream of the crop in eight categories with the first-ever Salem Patch Small Business Tournament, which will run for the next several months here on the site.

We'll begin on Monday with a series of 12 surveys that will see how different local small businesses stack up against each other. We'll ask you to check out the business listings in Patch Places of the featured establishments and post your reviews of the businesses. We'll choose the winners each week based on those reviews. Each survey will be open for the full business week.

The business that claims the crown will get a feature right here on Patch in July.

To business owners and managers: if you see your Patch Places listing during the Small Business Tournament, we encourage you to claim your listing by clicking "Claim it!" on the right side of the page.

If your business is missing from Patch Places, contact us, we'll get the listing created and get you in the tournament.
