Salem Students Win Awards at FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America conference was held last month. The school placed second in the state for the most outstanding chapter.

Jeff Dennis, the Dean of Students at Salem High School, would like to offer congratulations to all of the FBLA members who participated in the State Leadership Conference on March 31, and April 1, 2015.

Salem’s FBLA placed second in the state for the Most Outstanding Chapter, competing against 25 other New Hampshire chapters.

  • Accounting I – Dante Cartolano – 1st place
  • American Enterprise Project – Allie Adaschik and Christina Elkhoury – 1st place
  • Business Communication – Rebecca Varga – 2nd place
  • Community Service Project – Amanada D-Arezzo – 2nd place
  • Future Business Leader – Amanda D’Arezzo – 3rd place
  • Health Care Administration – Allie Adaschik – 3rd place
  • Job Interview – Tamara Naser – 2nd place
  • Marketing – Jason Frias and Matt Lofreddo – 1st place
  • Partnership with Business Project – Justus Sullivan and Sara Devaney – 2nd place

The Salem Chapter of FBLA received the following chapter awards:

  • Gold Seal Award for Most Outstanding Chapter – 2nd place
  • Local Chapter Annual Business Report – 1st place
  • FBLA Week Promotion Competition – 2nd place
  • Local Chapter Scrapbook – 1st place – Kyle Poucher
  • Local Chapter Exhibit – 2nd place – Justus Sullivan

State Chairperson’s Award for participating in All State Officer Projects

Justus Sullivan received the Who’s Who in FBLA award.
