Salem Town Office Candidate Filings Begin Jan. 22
Town Council, Budget Committee, Planning Board, ZBA, and other positions will be selected on March 11.

SALEM, NH — Filing for the following town offices will begin on Jan. 22.
Town Council: Three slots with three-year terms. Incumbents are Paul Pelletier, Keith Stramaglia, and Bonnie Wright.
Budget Committee: Two positions with three-year terms. Incumbents: Donna Loranger and Brenda Tecce.

Town Moderator: One position, one year term. Incumbent: Bernard W Campbell (replaced Christopher Goodnow).
Library Trustee: One slot, three-year term: Incumbent: David Hickernell.

Trustee of the Trust Funds: One position with a three-year term. Incumbent: Gregory Davis
Planning Board: Two positions, three-year terms. Incumbents: Sean Lewis and Chuck Saba (replaced George Perry).
Zoning Board of Adjustment: One-year position. Incumbent: Daniel Guild (replaced Jeff Hatch).
Zoning Board of Adjustment: Three-year position. Incumbent: Dionne Garon.
Filing Period: Wednesday, Jan. 22, through Friday, Jan. 31. Anyone interested in running for office must file at the Town Clerk’s Office, 33 Geremonty Drive. Candidates must be a registered voter in Salem.
Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Town Meeting: First Deliberative Session will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 08, 2025, at Salem High School.
Town Election: The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 11, at five polling places.
