Salem Woman Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Bottle at Truck: Police Log

Plus, Manchester residents arrested on drug, other charges, alleged Mass. forger charged, and alleged shoplifters also arrested.

SALEM, NH — Nicholas Thibert, 31, of Lancaster Avenue in Manchester, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2017, for operating without a valid license, reckless operation, misuse/fail to display plates, unofficial inspection/registration decal, and possession of a controlled drug-marijuana. He was arrested after a motor vehicle crash, with injury, on South Broadway near the Babies R Us.

Kenneth J. Harnum, 46, of South Main Street in Manchester, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-heroin/crack, less than 5 grams, after an alleged suspicious persons incident at the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Broadway.

Joseph M. Merlina, 31, of Bigelow Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:23 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2017, for two counts of forgery and two counts of identity fraud. He was arrested on a warrant, refused bail, and was held.

Jefferson Garcia, 23, of Ames Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2017, for two counts of sale of a controlled drug-Scheduled 1-4 and two counts of falsifying physical evidence. He was arrested a police headquarters.

James M. Krieger, 33, of Granite Street in Nashua, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2017, for willful concealment. He was arrested after an alleged incident at Lowes on South Broadway.

Kristin L. Prescott, 47, of Keewaydin Drive in Salem, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2017, for two counts of disorderly conduct and pedestrian on roadway. Police received “several calls” about a woman down on the on-ramp of I-93. She also allegedly threw a bottle of water at a box truck passing by. The woman later got into a Toyota Corolla, which headed on I-93 South. The woman was arrested later.

Brian R. Tremblay, 34, of Rattlesnake Hill Road in Andover, MA, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2017, for conduct after an accident and yellow/solid line violation. He was arrested on a warrant.
