Salem's Columbus Day Weekend Weather Forecast

So what’s the Columbus Day Weekend weather look like? Well, both good and bad, according to meteorologists.

Rain is expected to hit the early part of the weekend, according to AccuWeather.com, but after that, anticipate autumn weather with sunny skies and typical New England fall temperatures.

Also, don’t miss the peak of the Draconid meteor shower on Thursday night and Friday, too. Most of the state of New Hampshire will offer fair skies during the light show.

The forecast

Tonight, mostly clear and cool, with temperatures in the low 40s.

Tomorrow, expect sun with a light breeze, highs in the mid-60s. During the evening, clouds begin to roll in and lows will drop down into the 40s.

By Friday, showers are expected sometime in the late morning with highs reaching the low 60s. The rain is expected to continue into the evening and possibly on Saturday morning.

The sun then is expected to return and highs will the mid-to-upper 50s during the day. The temperatures during the evening are expected to drop down into the mid-to-upper 30s.

For Sunday and Monday, expect sunny skies with highs in the lower to middle 60s, and temps in the 40s during the evening.
