The Salem School Board elected Pamela Berry as its new chairman at its organizational meeting on Tuesday.
Berry replaces board member Peter Morgan as chairman. Patricia Corbett was elected vice chair, and Morgan board secretary.
Berry was re-elected to a three-year seat on the board last week. She and Michael Carney Jr. ran unopposed for the two openings on the board.
