School Deliberative Session Feb. 9

Michael Delahanty, Salem Superintendent of Schools, announced that the Salem School Board has set the Salem School District Deliberative Session for Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at 7 p.m., in the Seifert Auditorium at Salem High School. All registered Salem voters are invited to attend this first annual meeting.

The School Board is proposing an operating budget for the 2012-2013 school year. In addition, attendees will hear about the proposed contract agreements with five collective bargaining units.

Also, the School Board is proposing a comprehensive renovation project to address the facility needs of three elementary schools in Phase II of a K-12 facilities master plan.
