Signups for 6th Annual Citizen Police Academy Underway

The Salem Police Department is pleased to announce the schedule and opening of the application process for the 6th annual Citizen Police Academy. The Citizen Police Academy continues to be made possible due to a generous donation from the Salem Exchange Club.

The Academy is open to residents of Salem over the age of 18 as well as any Salem business owner. Classes will run on Tuesday nights from September 8, 2015 until November 17, 2015 with one Saturday class scheduled. Most classes will be held at the Salem Police Department between the hours of 6 and 9 PM.

Due to limited space and high demand completed application packets must be submitted no later than July 31, 2015.
