Salem, NH- The Greater
Salem Artists Association (GSAA) hosts its 28th annual Spring Fling
Art Show and Sale on Saturday April 5th at the Woodbury Middle
School in Salem, NH at 206 Main Street.
All proceeds of the
event will go to supporting the GSAA and will fund a scholarship for a
promising local art student. Each year, a scholarship is awarded at our January
monthly meeting.
This free one-day event
will run from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 5th 2014. GSAA
artists and their guests will share original paintings, prints, and notecards
for exhibit and purchase. Those in attendance can meet with the artists and get
to know each one. They can also walk the exhibit of paintings offered for
competition. Adult and student artists compete for ribbons and prizes.

There will be a “cookie
walk” and a raffle. The cookie walk has become one of the most popular
activities of this event. Attendees have the opportunity to buy a box of
homemade cookies for $5.00 and enter our raffle for chances to win art and
other great prizes.
The event will also
feature live music as well as refreshments and ample parking at the school.

The
Greater Salem, NH Artists Association was formed in 1986 by the late Edith
Kaufman for the purpose of gathering artists together to share their passion
for art in all its many forms. The Greater Salem Artists Association (GSAA)
still promotes the arts and welcomes new members of all degrees of artistic
ability with the desire to enrich their endeavors in art and pass on to others
this passion that art brings out.
