Street Closes After Tree Falls on Car: Salem Police

SALEM, NH — Part of Lawrence Street in Salem in closed at this hour after a tree feel onto a car, according to an alert online. The incident was reported some time after 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2016. The driver is OK, according to police, and Liberty Utilities has been notified, in order to send crews to the area to fix power lines that are down. The road is closed between Ansel and Senter streets, according to police.
