Super Petroleum on South Broadway Robbed
Salem Police seek public's help in solving the case. Do these clothing items look familiar?
At around 9:55 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2015, the Super Petroleum on South Broadway in Salem was robbed, according to Salem Police.
An employee alleged that a white man, around 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a thin build, locked the employee inside the garage area of the business and stole a cash register tray with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and had a bandana covering his face. He didn’t show a weapon or mention that he had a weapon and left on foot after the robbery, according to police.

Officers set up a perimeter around the business and brought in a K-9 unit. The K-9 unit later found a white bandana, gray ski hat, and a red winter jacket near the business. The tracking ended in the vicinity of Bagnell Avenue and Baron Avenue, according to police.
“It is believed that the suspect may have had a car waiting the in the area,” according to Lt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department.
