Suspicious Death Being Investigated In Danville
The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office says a woman was fatally shot on Back Road. Her body was discovered Thursday night.
CONCORD, NH — A woman was fatally shot in Danville and her body was discovered on Thursday night, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
The department said the New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes Unit as well as Danville police were investigating the suspicious death on Back Road.
“Upon arrival,” Michael Garrity, the department’s director of communications, said, “officers discovered an adult female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.”

An autopsy is being performed Friday.
The name of the woman had not been released due to family notification.
