Teen Charged with Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 9

  • 9:35 a.m.: Roberto Reyes, 39, of 410 Island Pond Road, Derry was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant. The charge was not specified. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • 12:24 p.m.: Michael John Powers, 26, of 256 Grove St., Reading, MA was arrested on a warrant and charged with receiving stolen property and theft by deception. Bail was set at $1,000.
  • 12:25 p.m.: Police received a report of a minor accident on Lawrence Road.
  • 12:36 p.m.: Police received a report of a fire at the Kelley Library on Main Street.
  • 2:41 p.m.: Erwin E. Mata, 19, of 16 Montgomery St., Apt. #1, Lawrence, MA was arrested on a warrant and charged with theft by unauthorized taking. He was released on a court summons.
  • 5:51 p.m.: Densy Fils-Aime, 39, of 44 Milton St., Apt. #2, Brockton, MA was arrested on an outstanding warrant for operating after suspension. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail.
  • 8:42 p.m.: John Robert Fabiano, 27, of 21 Judith E. Lane, Methuen, MA was charged with willful concealment. He was arrested after allegedly trying to shoplift from Lowe's on South Broadway. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
