When they arrived at the hotel, Remy allegedly fled out the rear exit of the building and got into a white pickup truck.
“As officers approached the truck in order to put Remy in custody, Remy placed the truck in drive and accelerated toward the officers, all of which needed to jump out of the way in order to avoid being struck by the truck,” according to Lt. Thomas Kench of the Salem Police Department. “Remy then led officers on an extensive pursuit through several towns in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.”
Remy was eventually stopped in Lowell and arrested. He was held and will be arraigned today in Lawrence District Court and then charged in Salem.
