Teens Arrested for Drugs After Speeding Incident on Parkway: LOG

Salem Police: Unpaid cab fare leads to warrant arrest, Mass. woman charged with shoplifting, and Derry man arrested for assault.

SALEM, NH - Gina M. Amore, 30, of Pelham Street in Methuen, was arrested at 10:57 a.m. on Dec. 9, 2015, for willful concealment and resisting arrest or detention. Police were sent to Kohl’s on Cluff Crossing Road for a report of a woman fleeing a loss prevention employee. She attempted to cross Route 28, according to a report, and was taken in to custody. EMTs were sent to the scene to check on her. Amore was later released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail.

William Bagrowski, 49, of Kilrea Road in Derry, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. on Dec. 9, 2015, for domestic violence-simple assault and domestic violence-obstructing report of a crime. Officers were called to Lawrence Road where a woman reported having a domestic incident with her boyfriend. “She may have a broken arm,” the report stated. The woman was on the floor and Salem Fire and Rescue teams were also sent to the scene. Bagrowski was later arrested and released on personal recognizance bail.

Joseph P. Barbrick, 18, of Pine Isle Drive in Derry, was arrested at 2:13 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2015, and charged with reckless operation, possession of a controlled drug (marijuana, hashish under 5 grams), and transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle. Also arrested was Anthony A. Brown, 18, of Bypass 28 in Derry for possession of a controlled drug (marijuana, hashish under 5 grams) and resisting arrest or detention. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle that was “speeding past him” was on Veterans Memorial Parkway. Eventually, the vehicle stopped, and both Barbrick and Brown were arrested. Brown was held in Brentwood; Barbrick was release on personal recognizance bail.

Robert J. Colleran, 27, of Winslow Avenue in Medford, MA, was arrested at 6:43 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2015, for speeding 1-10 mph over 55 limit, possession of a controlled drug (marijuana, hashish under 5 grams), and transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle. He was arrested at police headquarters on a warrant.

Janet A. Parker, 61, of Lafayette Road in Hampton, was arrested at 8:32 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2015, on a warrant. Police were sent to Salem District Court for a report of a dispute between a cab driver and a fare. The fare, according to the driver, stated that they couldn’t pay for the ride. When police arrived, they found that Parker had an outstanding warrant out of Plaistow as well as other warrants. “She was there to clear up the warrants for the court,” according to the report. Salem District Court cleared one of the warrants but the warrant out of Plaistow District Court was not cleared and she was arrested. Parker was later released to Plaistow Police.
