Theft of Gold Reported in Salem

Police also investigated two shoplifting incidents.

Monday, Nov. 18

  • 8:47 a.m.: Police received a report of the theft of traps on Garabedian Drive.
  • 9:47 a.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Rockingham Park Boulevard.
  • 11:03 p.m.: Police received a report of the theft of gold on Pumping Station Road.
  • 12:58 p.m.: Kristen Kowaleski, 21, of 83 Parker Road, Chester was arrested on a warrant for controlled drug act. She was released on $1,000 bail.
  • 2:17 p.m.: Police received a report of a road range incident that began in Methuen and crossed into Salem.
  • 4:45 p.m.: Javier Luna, 34, of 1181 Merrimack St., Apt. #3, Manchester was charged with willful concealment, theft third conviction following an alleged shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor on Rockingham Park Boulevard.
  • 6:07 p.m.: Loss prevention at Bob's Stores on Cluff Crossing Road reported that a male subject stole a pair of boots.
Tuesday, Nov. 19

  • 5:23 a.m.: Police received a report of a car into a tree, with the vehicle smoking.
