Three Charged with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property

Salem Police arrested three men Friday after numerous stolen items were recovered from a vehicle at Rockingham Park.
Jimmy Jacques, 19, of Hudson, Julio Lopez, 25, of Litchfield, and Christopher Patrikis, 22, of Nashua, were charged with one count each of theft and one felony count each of receiving stolen property.
Police said that at 1 p.m. on Friday a parking lot attendant told a police officer that three males had just broken into a vehicle at the lot and stolen a tire out of its trunk.

When confronted by police, the suspects stated they had a flat tire and the tire came from a friend's car. The attendant had told police they witnessed the suspects "pulling door handles" throughout the lot.
The suspect’s vehicle with the flat tire was located and inside police observed drug paraphernalia, eight GPS systems, a laptop computer, four iPods, four radar detectors, a BB gun, a camera, autographed baseballs, two leaf blowers, gifts cards and credit cards with various names on them and "numerous other items which appeared to be stolen," police said.

The vehicle was towed and the items were seized, and police said the value of the recovered items was "well in excess" of $1,000.
All three subjects were released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail pending arraignment in Salem District Court, police said.
