Two Arrested for DWI After Main Street Crash
Salem Police: Casey Gurley, Kyrsis Graham face charges.

A Hampstead man and a Salem woman were arrested earlier this week on drunk driving charges, according to police.
Casey Gurley, 25, of Hampstead, was arrested at around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 16, on an aggravated DWI charge. Kyrsis Graham, 21, of Salem, was also arrested on a DWI charge.
According to an arrest report, Salem Police and Fire and Rescue teams were called to an accident at the intersection of Main and North Main streets at around 10:20 p.m.

Two drivers, Gurley and Graham, were treated at the scene.
Several witnesses stated that they allegedly observed Gurley driving his vehicle on Main Street at between 80 and 90 mph and then, reportedly rear-ended another vehicle that was exiting North Main Street onto Main.

Gurley allegedly failed a failed sobriety test and was arrested.
Graham, who was driving the vehicle that was hit, was also arrested for DWI.
“Main St. was shut down for 15-20 minutes while emergency crews worked to clear the scene,” according to Deputy Chief Shawn Patten.
Gurley was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail; Graham was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
