Preschool/kindergarten enrichment program, babysitter training at Woodbury.

The Learning Cooperative Preschool of Salem Family Resources-Success By 6 will offer a “Free Sample” of their Enrichment Programs for area preschool and kindergarten students on Oct. 22, 23 and 24.
Wednesday, Oct. 24 is a delayed-opening for Salem Schools and there is no AM kindergarten for Salem students.

Programs open to sample include Cooking, Cultures and Creativity-Theater Arts on Monday, 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., Exploring Fine Arts with Nancy D’Agostino, on Tuesday, 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. and Sensational Science with Frannie Greenberg, Wednesday for both sessions; 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. or 12:15 to 1:45 p.m.
These classes provide unique and in-depth topics for fun, hands-on learning for preschool-aged children, as well as kindergarten students for an addition to their regular school curriculum.

Salem Family Resources-Success By 6 will hold their semi-annual Babysitter Training on Thursday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 at Woodbury Middle School in Salem, 2:30 to 5 p.m. for students ages 12 years and older.
The fun, hands-on training covers the responsibilities of babysitting, safety, the business of babysitting, child development and age-appropriate activities for young children, practice sessions and make & take materials.
Students must attend both days of the training to complete the course. There is a fee of $20 to cover the cost of materials and registration is available online at www.salemfamilyresources.org or e-mail info@salemfamilyresources.org or call 603 898-5493.
