Vermont Family Indicted in Relation to Canobie Lake Park Melee

The three men from the June 16 brawl have been indicted on riot charges.

Members of a Vermont family accused of starting a brawl at Canobie Lake Park this summer have been indicted on riot charges.

Elmer Allen Perry, 45, and his sons, Joshua and Brian, are accused of attacking officers at the park entrance on June 16.

The grand jury indictment states the three recklessly created a public risk and assaulted two Salem police officers, according to WMUR 9.

Police said the fight started when Joshua Perry was being placed under arrest after insisting on entering the park with knives on his belt. Officers then began struggling with the three accused men.
