Visions for Vacancies: 189 South Broadway

Welcome to the latest edition of Salem Patch's "Visions for Vacancies" feature. Each week, we'll share a picture and some information about a vacant commercial space in town and ask you what you'd like to see go in that space.

Last week we visited and this week we head a bit further north to 189 South Broadway.

This was formerly home to Mattress Discounters and is located between Burger King and the Salem Animal Hospital. According to information available from the Vision Appraisal assessor's online database of Salem properties, the parcel is valued at $1,332,300.

It has been owned by Paul and Veronica Garabedian since 1964 and the current building on the property was constructed in 1976. It has a living area of 9,018 square feet.
