Visions for Vacancies: 356 South Broadway

Each week share your ideas for vacant commercial space.

Welcome to the latest edition of Salem Patch's "Visions for Vacancies" feature. Each week, we'll share a picture and some information about a vacant commercial space in town and ask you what you'd like to see go in that space.

Last week, we visited 23 South Broadway for our first edition. Now, we head further south to 356 South Broadway.

This portion of the property was formerly home to Partyrama. According to information available from the Vision Appraisal assessor's online database of Salem properties, the parcel is valued at $3,805,100.

It was purchased in 1995 by Paul Garabedian, Jr. Trustee with no sale price listed. The building was originally constructed in 1962 and the full living area of the parcel is just over 38,000 square feet.

In the comment section below, we ask you to post your ideas for what type of business you'd like to see in the space at 356 South Broadway.
