This is one vacancy where the vision for the space is entirely clear. At 402 and 412 South Broadway, the former Rockingham Woodcraft and Ultimate Electronics/Circuit City locations will become

We took this picture of the current vacant location recently. We'll update it throughout construction to show how things are moving along.

According to Vision Apprasial's database of Salem properties, dealership owner Emmett Horgan purchased the two properties for a total of $8.05 million last September.

The former Ultimate Electronics building will become the 35,000-square-foot Toyota dealership including the addition of a 2,400-square-foot mezzanine.

Meanwhile, the dilapidated Rockingham Woodcraft location will be replaced by a 26,000-square-foot Honda dealership.

The entire location will include 285 spaces for vehicle display.
