Weather
The National Weather Service says that this weekend, the weather should look pretty good. Expect sunny skies on Friday with highs in the low-to-mid-30s. Temps will drop down into the teens during the evening. Expect similar weather on Saturday and Sunday, with slightly warmer temps – the low 20s – at night. Clouds start to creep in Monday with rain and snow possible early next week.

All weekend
- The Peacock Players present its Christmas Spectacular at the Janice B. Streeter Theatre, 14 Court St. in Nashua, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10-$17.
- The Seacoast Repertory Theatre, 125 Bow St. in Portsmouth, presents “The Wizard of Oz” all this weekend and next weekend. Tickets are $25-$38.
- The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St. in Portsmouth, presents An 1836 Portsmouth Nutcracker. Tickets are $28-$44.
- The 10th Annual Vintage Christmas in Portsmouth will be held all around the city this weekend.

- The Grace Episcopal Church, 30 Eastman St. in Concord, hosts its monthly community supper featuring turkey, potatoes, and more, at 5 p.m. The meal is free but donations for the Take-A-Tote program will be accepted.
- Stop by The Canvas Roadshow, 176 South River Road in Bedford, to paint and sip at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required.
- Ed Gerhard’s 32nd Annual Christmas Guitar Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 292 State St. in Portsmouth. Tickets are $26-$29.
- Photographer Joe Stevens brings his photos of the legendary punk band Sex Pistols at 8 p.m. to the Press Room, 77 Daniel St. in Portsmouth.
Saturday
- At 1 p.m., at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center, 66 Brook Road in Amherst, it’s a fall family fun day, focusing on Native American dream catchers. Registration is required and the fee runs $4-$5; $20-$25, per family.
- Also, at the Concord Public Library, there is a teen holiday party scheduled at 1 p.m. for sixth- to 12th-graders.
- Bands who have been recording at the Rocking Horse Studio are holding a Christmas concert at the Capitol Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
- James Montgomery Band w/Grace Kelly and Cliff Goodwin perform at the Tupelo Music Hall, 2 Young Road in Londonderry, at 8 p.m.
- George Belli & The Retroactivists plays the Dolphin Striker, 15 Bow St. in Portsmouth, at 9:30 p.m.
Sunday
- Are you up for a holiday pops concert to get you in the spirit? Stop by the Capitol Center for the Arts at 4 p.m. for a great holiday jazz show. Tickets are $25-$35.
- A community “Messiah” sing, featuring the Souhegan Valley Chorus, will be held at the First Congregational Church, 10 Union St. in Milford, at 4 p.m.
- At 7 p.m., Sergei Novikov plays the Tupelo Music Hall, 2 Young Road in Londonderry. Tickets are $32.
