WorldCom Exchange Awarded Grant
One of five state companies to receive this month's grant funding.

WorldCom Exchange, Inc. (WEI) of Salem is one of five recipients of Job Training Fund Grants from the state of New Hampshire, Gov. John Lynch's office announced Tuesday.
Nearly 200 workers will be trained with the nearly $80,000 to be distributed among the five businesses. Each business will match the grant they receive from the state.
WEI is located at 6 Delaware Dr. in Salem off Lowell Road. According to their website, WEI is a "business technology performance improvement specialist" that has developed "a leadership position in the IT community." WEI has hundreds of collaborations with companies of varying sizes across the country.

"Investing in our workers, ensuring they have the skills companies need to compete globally, continues to be a key part of our state’s successful economic strategy," Lynch said in a statement. "The Job Training Fund is ensuring that we have a skilled, educated workforce, which is keeping good jobs right here in New Hampshire."
Nearly 11,000 New Hampshire workers have received training and enhanced skills since the Job Training Fund program was re-instated four years ago.
