Join Peter Wiggin for an insightful presentation on the life of Stratham’s first settler, Captain Thomas Wiggin, and his family during the turbulent decade of 1645-1655. Lifelong resident of Stratham, Peter is returning to present his second in a series of four decades in the life of Captain Thomas Wiggin. This second installment in the series explores local life on the banks of the Quamscott River in contrast to the historical rampage of Cromwell's New Model Army across the British Isles. The program is offered by Stratham Historical Society and Wiggin Memorial Library, it is free and open to the public. Monday, Sept. 14 at 7:00 PM.
