All are invited to a collaborative celebration of spring with High Mowing School’s May Day! The festival features local artisans and their wares, Events include traditional maypole and Morris dancing; a theatrical send off to winter; live music; games and activities for kids; a puppet show; a performance by the Flying Gravity Circus; wagon rides by the Temple-Wilton Community Farm; ice cream from Trombly Gardens; and varsity soccer games. Free admission (food, some activities, and musical by purchase); open to the public. Festivities wrap up in the afternoon, but all are invited to the final performance of High Mowing’s spring musical: “Into the Woods.” Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children. 7 p.m.
