$1.3M in Upgrades Proposed for Golden Brook School
Some School Board members would prefer a cheaper alternative.

The Windham School Board is wrestling with the idea of spending $1.3 on improvements to Golden Brook Elementary School, according to The Eagle-Tribune.
The newspaper reports that board members are split over whether to support the proposal from school administrators to replace the modular classrooms at the school. Some board members at last week's meeting said they favored spending $100,000 to improve the siding on the modular classrooms.
The Windham School Board is holding an open forum at 7 p.m. Thursday on the district's future facilities needs. The session is being held in the Windham Middle School cafeteria.
