WINDHAM, NH — Residents and community members from across Southern New Hampshire will have a chance this fall to meet more than 50 nonprofits, service agencies and community organizations in one place.
The Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce said its Non-Profit Expo will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Windham High School, 64 London Bridge Road, Windham. Admission for attendees is free.
The event will bring together nonprofits, community organizations, resource providers and service agencies from across Southern New Hampshire, according to the release. The chamber said the expo is intended to help people learn about services in the region, connect with organizations and find ways to get involved.
The participating groups support families, empower youth, improve health, serve seniors, assist veterans, and strengthen communities. It states that attendees may come looking for community resources, volunteer opportunities, support or information about the organizations serving Southern New Hampshire.
The chamber is also inviting nonprofits to reserve tables for the event. According to the release, the expo is open to both chamber members and non-members. Table registration costs $75 for chamber members and $100 for non-members.
The chamber said the event gives nonprofits a chance to share their missions, connect with potential volunteers and supporters, build partnerships and highlight their work. With more than 50 organizations expected to participate, the chamber described the expo as an opportunity for groups to reach community members, businesses and fellow organizations.
