The Astilbe are a classic for any summer garden color in a shady part of your garden and one of my personal favorites. We have them with some other shade loving plants, like the Old fashion Bleeding Hearts, our Hostas and of course Astilbe. They are very easy to grow and require so little attention. They are a special delight when planted en masse in shade and semi-shade places in your garden. They are a perennial that comes in many colors and heights and is also deer resistant and are long lived providing a wonderful surprise with each new season
