Be a Rock Star

A long time ago, a good friend of mine and I were late arriving at an event with our kids.  When we pulled up to the venue, we found a parking spot right next to the main entrance.  She exclaimed, "Look kids! We got rock star parking!"

I always think of that day and how she made us all feel special for a moment.... for getting a parking spot.  But the point is that she made the simple act of parking exciting and new. 

We all have a chance to be rock stars tomorrow when we drive up to Windham High School and vote yes for School District Warrant Article 2. 

Because when we get home from the polls, we can tell our kids we did something extraordinary.  We can say we voted for them, for their schools, and for the future of Windham. 

This is no ordinary vote.
