Gymnasts Take First Place!
Local gymnasts earn top spots in team and individual competition at Hawaiian Luau Invitational
Shrewsbury, Mass. ~ At the end of a long weekend of competition, local gymnasts representing Phantom Gymnastics of Hampstead proudly walked away with most of the first place trophies for the team competition. In addition, many of the girls took top spots in individual and all-around events.
Girls from Windham, Pelham, and Salem contributed to a team win in each of Levels 4, 5, 6, and 7, at the Hawaiian Luau Meet on February 18-19. Level 9 girls took 2nd place in the team all-around.

Level 5
Sydney Chretien, of Salem, was 1st on floor with a 9.4, 2nd on vault with a 9.0, 4th on bars with a 9.25, and 5th on beam with a 9.175. She won first place in the all-around for her age group with a 36.825.

Kasey Hartmann, of Salem, took 1st place on vault (8.95), bars (9.35), and beam (9.05) and 2nd on floor with a 9.35. She won first place in the all-around for her age group with a 36.70.
Emily Jones, of Salem, was 1st on bars with a 9.375, and 5th in the all-around with a 35.525.
Level 6
Olivia Faro, of Windham, posted a personal best with 1st place in the all-around with a score of 37.025. She won 1st on bars with a 9.45, 5th on vault with a 9.175 and on floor with a 9.1.
Morgan Suech, of Derry, took 2nd place on vault with a 9.275 and on bars with a 9.4. She won 5th place in the all-around with a total of 36.350.
MacKenzie Svenson, of Salem, won 4th place on vault with a 9.2 and 5th on bars with a 9.1.
Jordan Wakim, of Salem, took second place on floor with a 9.175, 5th on bars and 4th in the all-around with a 35.875.
Elizabeth Aldrich, of Salem, earned a 9.0 on floor and an 8.65 on vault.
Kacie Blanchet, of Salem, scored a personal best on her beam routine with an 8.825.
Level 7
Rebecca Heath, of Windham, was 1st on bars with a 9.5 and on beam with a 9.425. She took 3rd on floor with a 9.65 and won the all-around with a total score of 37.7.
Gabriella Palermo, of Salem, was first on bars with a 9.35 and on beam with a 9.275. She took 2nd on vault with a 9.3 and on floor with a 9.475. She won the all-around with a total score of 37.40
Olivia Champagne, of Salem, took 2nd on bars with a 9.175.
Sydney Bartlett, of Salem, took 2nd on beam with a 9.425.
Level 8
Ali Otis, of Windham, placed 1st on beam with a 9.2, 3rd on vault and floor.
Level 9
Sara Fisher, of Pelham, took 5th place on vault with a 9.025, beam and floor and won 7th in the all-around for her age division.
