Gymnasts take top spots in State Meet
Windham, Salem and Pelham gymnasts win top spots at state meet, taking home several first place team trophies in the process.
Local girls take several firsts on team and in individual results
Stratham, NH ~ After a long and successful season, the gymnasts from Phantom Gymnastics in Hampstead brought their A-game to the mats at the state meet last month. Finishing with some of their highest all-around scores, the girls made sure to end the season with their best routines and were rewarded for their hard work with a number of the top spots in the state.

Several of the girls on the higher levels also qualified to move on to the regional meets. Watch for more information on their successes there!
In the team competition, Phantom’s levels 4, 5 and 7 took first place in each of their team divisions. Level 6 went home with 2nd place and Level 9 took 3rd.

Some of the highlights for our local girls include:
Level 5
Kasey Hartmann, of Salem, won the overall for her division and age group with a total all-around score of 37.625. She took first in the individual events of vault (9.175), bars (9.475), and floor (9.6). She was second on beam with a 9.375
Sydney Chretien, of Salem, came in second in her age group with an all-around score of 37.550. She was 3rd on vault (9.125) and beam (9.675). She took 5th on bars with a 9.375.
Emily Jones, of Salem, was 4th in the all-around with a score of 35.625 in her age group. She took first on bars with a 9.325 and 3rd on beam with a 9.225.
Level 6
Morgan Suech, of Derry, took 1st place in her age group for the all-around with a score of 37.250. She was first on vault (9.625), bars (9.45), and floor (9.25).
Olivia Faro, of Windham, was 2nd in her age group with an all-around score of 36.85. She won 2nd on bars with a 9.425, 3rd on floor with a 9.05, 4th on vault with a 9.3, and 5th on beam with a 9.075.
Scarlett Souter, of Windham, was 3rd in the all-around for her age group with a total score of 36.625. She took first on floor with a 9.225, 2nd on vault with a 9.425, and 3rd on bars with a 9.35.
Jordan Wakim, of Salem, was 6th in the all-around with a 35.725 and 6th in the floor routine with a 9.0.
Elizabeth Aldrich, of Salem, took 5th in the all-around with a total score of 35.825. She took 4th on beam with a 9.125 and 5th on floor with a 9.05.
Kacie Blanchet, of Salem, was 5th on floor with a 9.025.
Level 7
Olivia Champagne, of Salem, won first place for her age group with an all-around score of 37.675. She was 2nd on beam with a 9.45 and 3rd on bars with a 9.425.
Rebecca Heath, of Windham, was 3rd in the all-around with a total score of 37.5. She took second on vault (9.6) and bars (9.45) and 5th on floor (9.45).
Gabriella Palermo, of Salem, won first place for her age group in the all-around with a total score of 37.25. She took first on vault with a 9.375, 2nd on beam (9.15) and floor (9.45) and 3rd on bars with a 9.275.
Sydney Bartlett, of Salem, earned a total all-around score of 36.7 and took 7th place in the all-around.
Level 8
Ali Otis, of Windham, competed on beam, winning first place with a 9.2, and on floor where she took 5th place (9.075). Her scores earned her a spot at the regional meet as well.
Level 9
Sara Fisher, of Pelham, took second in the all-around with a total score of 34.675. She won the vault (9.225) and floor (9.0) and took 3rd on bars (8.1) and beam (8.35). Her scores earned her a spot at the regional meet.
Phantom Gymnastics is a highly competitive gymnastics program located on Route 111 in Hampstead and draws gymnasts from across Southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts.
