Local Girls Shine as Their Teams Take First Place at Boston Classic Gymnastics Meet
Windham girls help their gymnastics team win big at the Boston Classic meet
Westwood, Mass. – Girls from Windham, Pelham and Salem were well-represented on the awards podium when their teams won first place at the Boston Classic gymnastics meet over the weekend of January 14-15.
Competing against gyms from across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, the girls from Phantom Gymnastics in Hampstead hit several personal bests, enough to take home the top place in the team competition for levels 4, 5, 6 and 7. Level 9 came in 4th place in the team competition.

Level 5 - First place for team
Kasey Hartmann, of Salem, took 1st place on vault with a 9.3, 3rd on beam (9.325) and floor (9.35) and 1st place in the all-around with her personal best score for level 5 of 37.225.

Sydney Chretien, of Salem, was 1st on beam with a 9.575, 2nd on floor with a 9.425, 3rd on bars with a 9.35 and 3rd in the all-around for the senior division with a 36.75.
Emily Jones, of Salem, was 5th on beam with a 9.2.
Level 6 - First place for team
Olivia Faro, of Windham, celebrated her 10th birthday with an amazing performance. She was 1st on bars with a 9.25, 2nd on vault with a 9.2, 4th on beam with a 9.425 and won the all-around with a score of 36.95.
Scarlett Souter, of Windham, took 3rd place on vault with a 9.425, 4th on bars and floor (9.125) and 3rd in the all-around for the senior division with a score of 36.0.
MacKenzie Svenson, of Salem, took 1st place on vault with a score of 9.525.
Jordan Wakim, of Salem, scored her personal best for level 6 with an all-around score of 35.5.
Elizabeth Aldrich, of Salem, scored her personal best for level 6 with an all-around score of 35.15.
Kacie Blanchet, of Salem, also scored her personal best for level 6 with an all-around score of 34.05.
Level 7 - First place for team
Gabriella Palermo, of Salem, took 3rd on bars with a 9.275, 5th on floor with a 9.325 and 4th in the all-around with a 36.8.
Rebecca Heath, of Windham, was 4th on vault with a 9.3, 3rd on floor with a 9.4, and 6th in the all-around with a total score of 36.475.
Olivia Champagne, of Salem, scored a personal best with a total of 36.275 in the all-around.
Sydney Bartlett, of Salem, took 1st place on beam with a 9.25.
Level 9
Sara Fisher, of Pelham, was 6th on vault and scored a personal best for level 9 with an all-around score of 33.8.
