On my way to drop-off my children at school, I was met with the "daily jam" at the Center School intersection. I had a green light but no where to go. Buses and cars where entering from four different directions. Sometimes drivers are patient, like today. Other times it becomes gridlock and people start cutting people off and honking their horns. It is worse in the afternoon and nothing compared to the line of cars at Golden Brook.
If you don't think our schools are overcrowed, explain to me how we should resolve this very real safety issue.

Later in the morning, I attended the fifth grade performance of School House Rocks at the Windham High School. I got there as the show was starting only to find a full house. Literally. All 600 seats were full. Imagine the entire balcony of the auditorium filled to capacity - that is what 257 students looks like. The rest of the space was completely filled with parents, friends, and family.
If you don't think we have a capacity problem, explain to me how these 257 children are going to fit at Windham Middle School.

The problem is here, it is real, and I continue to find the lack of a solution unacceptable.
