With two new members and two second-year members this year, Anderson is by far the longest tenured member of the school board, serving since 2004. He has held the position of chairman before, the last time in 2010.
Anderson served as vice chairman in 2011. Ed Gallgher, who served as chairman, stepped down this year along with fellow board member Jeff Bostic.
